The founders of PLATO are Greg Williams, Marko Vojkovic and Richard Swindail. They are three secondary school teachers representing both the government and the non-government sectors.

Their inspiration to create this lobby group arose out of extreme frustration, over their failure to be heard by the powers responsible for the proposed post compulsory regime in WA.

Their hope is that this site will provide teachers, parents and students, at all levels of schooling, with a venue by which they can express their feelings on educational issues. They hope also that the site will become a place where educators are able to freely and generously share ideas for the betterment of our primary purpose of educating children.

They invite and encourage teachers, parents, students, and all with a love of learning to join.
